Lower Campus

Pre-Kindergarten — Grade 5

Our Elementary Program

Claremont Christian Academy's Lower Elementary classrooms offer a safe and academically stimulating environment where students can thrive spiritually and academically.  Classes use a variety of curriculum resources including Bob Jones University, ACSI's Purposeful Design, and Abeka.

Three recesses a day give students time to run, socialize and play. Bible Concepts  is taught daily in the classroom and a Christian Worldview is woven throughout all subjects. Core subjects taught are Math, Language Arts, Writer's Workshop, Science and Social studies.  CCA Elementary students have specials in STEAM, Music Theory, Art, and Physical Education.

Our Kindergarten Program

Claremont Christian Academy offers two Kindergarten Programs. A full day 5 year old Kindergarten Program and a full day 4 year old Kindergarten Program. Both programs are well rounded and primarily use A Beka for curriculum with supplemental resources. CCA Kindergartners have specials each week that teach Music Theory, Art, Physical Education and Writer's Workshop. A monthly visit to a local nursing home is part of learning to Lead with Love from the very beginning years at CCA. The students bring a craft project gift to their special friend, sing songs and recite poetry to share Jesus. Three recesses a day give K4s and K5s time to run, climb, swing and play. K4 students have a nap period after lunch and K5 students have a rest period with story time. Kindergarten grads leave the program ready for Grade 1 with a Bible in hand, reading and having had math, science and social studies taught as well as the areas of work and social skills.
