Our motto at CCA is “Reaching Higher.” Students are encouraged and given the tools they need to reach their highest potential.
All grades have teacher-led classrooms and supplement curriculum with hands on and group activities to help meet the needs of a variety of learning styles. Each day at CCA, starts with a Bible class for first period and guest speaker ministers to the students at a Chapel service mid week.
Elementary students in grades K-6 primarily learn using A Beka and Purposeful Design by ACSI curriculum. Students at the Jr/Sr. High Life Campus use a variety of curriculum including:
Purposeful Design by ACSI, Chicago Math (9-12), Bob Jones University Press, From the Roots Up, Bob Jones University Press, Notgrass History, A Beka, Answers in Genesis and Apologia
Specialty Subjects: In addition to the core subjects taught in the upper grades, we offer specialty subjects such as Performing Arts, Drama, Art, Computer Skills, Classic Games, Missions, Calligraphy, Children's Ministry, Life Skills and Service Learning.
Students’ school experience is enhanced through sports programs (soccer, basketball, ski/snowboarding), field trips, and community service opportunities. Elementary students participate in a monthly nursing home visitation ministry while Jr/Sr high students serve with the Adopt-a-Highway cleanup program.
